Erica Allen lives in Asheboro, NC with her husband Nate. Throughout the year, she works on creating pieces and establishing the ceramics aesthetic for the Cageless Birds store as one of the head potters.  Erica is passionate about bringing beauty to life with her hands and imparting hope in the creative process through connection with the Creator.  Throughout the year, she works on creating collaborative pieces and establishing the ceramic aesthetic for the Cageless Birds Store.  Erica studied two years of ceramics at Columbus State University in Georgia.  Her work is marked by color, artful design and organic forms.  During the schools, Erica helps teach the Pottery Collective, inspiring students to connect with God as they engage the gift of their humanity in the pottery process.
